Post Malone Is Buying a $3 Million Bunker in Utah to do "Cowboy Sh*t"
(Pigeonsandplanes)
This summer, Post Malone was the guest on the H3 podcast and talked about his plans to build an apocalypse shelter.
"I’m just buying a place out in the sticks," he said. "I’m building it underground. It’s going to be fun until the world ends. But whenever the world ends, it’s going to be functional."
Explaining that he felt like there was "impending doom" in the world, Post said that he looked at nuclear maps to find the ideal, safe location. "I'm just prepared," he continued. "Plus, I love the simple life. I love to shoot guns. I love to ride vehicles and run around and drink and smoke and kick it."
During the H3 interview, he said the ideal location would be in northern Nevada, but at the end of a Rolling Stone interview published today, he said he'll be purchasing a 13,000-square-foot home in northern Utah for $3 million.
"I'm gonna put in, like, 30 bunk beds," he said. "It's free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy shit. I can't wait."
Giving a peek into his worldview, Post explained to Rolling Stone that he's "into alternate news. Shit not a lot of people read, like conspiracy shit. There's crazy shit that goes on that we can't explain. Chemtrails and shit."
