Steph Curry Signs Super Max Deal Worth 5-Years, $201 Million Dollars

You know how DJ Khaled got people to say ‘secure the bag’? That’s exactly what Steph Curry is doing with his new contract. The Chef is locked down to Golden State for the next four years, or five, depending on if he opts in for the last year of his $201 million dollar deal.

Oh yeah, that’s the richest contract in NBA history. It’s the first to surpass that 200M’s bar in the Super Max era. And if this is the start of them? Good luck to the Luxury Tax in the years to come.

Steph is cashing out, dog.

Kevin Durant may have joined the super team and made them into front-runners to win the NBA Championship for the forseeable future, but Curry is still the face of the franchise.

He’s going into his ninth year with Golden State, extremely underpaid for his value to the franchise and can finally see the fruits of the labor come straight direct deposit, right into his bank account. The boy is making $40.2 million dollars a deal. And that’s not counting the money he’s getting from Under Armour. Or JP Morgan Chase, JBL and Degree.

Over the course of his eight year career with the Warriors, Curry has averaged 22.8 points, 6.8 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Plus, he’s helped bring two championships to Oakland in the span of three years. Shit, this could have been a 3-peat if it wasn’t for last season.

One of the best shooters of all time will stay in the Bay Area, sitting on that mountain of M’s.
