Dana White Doesn't Want To See A Ronda Rousey Comeback
(Complex)
Will Ronda Rousey return to the Octagon in 2018? Not if UFC president Dana White gets his way.
Nearly a year after Rousey was knocked out by Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, White addressed the possibility of her big comeback. Though she hasn’t fought since her back-to-back title losses (she was also defeated by Holly Holm in 2015), Rousey hasn’t officially retired from MMA. White said she remains in the United States Anti-Doping Agency testing pool, which means she could return to the UFC at any time. But White said he doesn’t want to see the former women’s bantamweight champion attempt to make a comeback.
“I wouldn’t want to see it,” White told MMAjunkie. “I don’t want it to have to happen. I care about her, and she’s got enough money. She’s got enough money and all of that stuff. I don’t want to see it happen.”
